Coaching is about improving the performance of the client, not by telling, but by questioning in order to facilitate awareness and learning. They aim to enhance the quality of their clients' lives. Coaching does not seek to resolve any underlying psychological problems.
 
 
 



Counselling is focused on helping people with emotional distress which stops them being able to function as well as they would like. Solution focused therapy is a counseling approach that looks more to the future than to the past. Instead of trying to understand what has gone wrong the emphasis is on moving forward.
